Mouse in My House

Many thanks to Justin Rohde of ECO-HUTS for teaching me new building techniques and exposing me to new experiences. You can find him at www.eco-huts.com. He has a wealth of knowledge and is making great things happen. I look forward to working with you again!

I have finished salvaging/removing everything from the inside of the camper that might be repurposed such as the existing systems, hardware, refrigerator, burners, sink, etc.. Destruction Day has been set for this Sunday! I can't wait to see the flat trailer bed, but I am worried about the foundation condition.

While removing cabinet doors I discovered that I have already had my first House Guest.
Welcome Mr. Mouse! He has a much smaller home than I do so luckily it can be easily relocated.

Breaking Boundaries

To start with a clean slate is nearly impossible. Even a newborn baby can have a history of good or great attributes inherited from time spent in the womb. Beginning a new adventure might take you to uncharted territory, but you must always work around or with what you already have.
I have inherited a moldy, broken, sorry looking camper with a cab. Life yells at me "you just attended a tiny house conference, now you must build…again". This time bigger, with more skill, better intentions, plans must be drawn, pictures taken, blog post often, scavenge, barter, thrift and ask questions. Thus starts my newest adventure at repurposing an old camper trailer into my new tiny home to provide me with just a little bit 'more' space.
Pictures will be here soon of the untouched version of the still intact camper.
